Grinding robots are mainly used for surface grinding of workpieces, deburring of edges and corners, grinding of welds, deburring of inner cavities and holes, and processing of orifice threads. Its core is the polishing and polishing process method + the motion control technology of the robot system.

The grinding robot is mainly composed of the industrial robot body and the peripheral equipment such as grinding tools and grippers. Through system integration, the software and hardware of the robot and the peripheral equipment are connected by the main control cabinet, and the software and hardware of the peripheral equipment are unified and coordinated to realize various grinding functions.
Songle polishing robot is composed of dual worktables and a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate robot. The working principle of the double table is similar to that of the machining center. When the rough part on one station is being polished, the operator can remove the polished part from the other station, and then install another blank. The tooling on each workbench can turn the parts 180 degrees, so that the four sides of the blank can be polished.

In the process of grinding and polishing, there is a strong continuous impact and vibration on each axis of the grinding robot. For this reason, strengthening measures are adopted for the sliding block of a single linear motion unit, the connecting plate between each axis, etc., and seismic and impact resistance measures are adopted. The connecting screws used also adopt anti-vibration measures to avoid loosening.
The working space of the polishing robot can be customized according to user requirements to meet the requirements of one part or multiple parts at a time. Robots with five or more axes can be produced. The grinding robot can not only improve the work efficiency and quality, avoid the injury of the operator, but also can complete many large grinding and polishing tasks that cannot be completed by hand.
